Pete Snodden – Radio DJ / Host / MC

Broadcaster, radio DJ, host, speaker, and live event specialist Pete Snodden is one of the most recognisable voices in Northern Ireland, with a career spanning over two decades at the very top of the industry.

Best known as the voice behind the hugely successful breakfast show on Cool FM, Pete has been waking up audiences for nearly 20 years with his energy, humour, and natural connection with listeners. Equally at home in the studio or on stage, he brings professionalism and personality to every event he’s part of.

Pete’s impressive career has seen him host and perform at major international events, including opening for Barack Obama during his keynote visit to Belfast ahead of the G8 conference. He has also broadcast live from global events such as the MTV European Music Awards and Euro 2016 in France.

A highly experienced live host, Pete has fronted events for major brands and organisations including Red Bull, Heineken, Sports Relief, and the World Police & Fire Games closing ceremony. He is a sought-after MC for awards ceremonies, corporate events, Q&A sessions, and live productions, known for his ability to engage audiences and put guests instantly at ease.

Pete is also an accomplished speaker, regularly delivering talks on confidence building and personal development, while his relaxed and engaging interview style ensures he gets the very best from guests across music, sport, entertainment, and politics.

A multi-award-winning presenter, he has been named CIPR Entertainment Presenter of the Year and received “Personality of the Year” accolades from both Fate and Go Magazines.

Outside of broadcasting, Pete is a passionate sports fan and active participant, with interests in hockey, golf, football, and rugby. He is also a proud ambassador for organisations including The Prince’s Trust, Young Enterprise Northern Ireland, and serves as a board member of Cinemagic.

A natural entertainer with huge crowd appeal, Pete Snodden is also a standout favourite at live events — including the hugely popular I Still Want To Dance 30+ shows — where his energy and connection with audiences make him a key part of the experience.
